Have you taken a shower and noticed a pool of water after you’re done showering? If so, you probably have a slow drain. Over time grime, debris, and hair builds up in the shower drain and causes a clog which causes draining to be slow. Here are some ways to unclog the drain:
- Use baking soda and vinegar: Baking soda and vinegar mixed together works well as a drain cleaner. Start off by pouring baking soda down the drain and after a few minutes pour in vinegar. Let it sit for around an hour and then pour boiling water down the drain to clean it out.
- Unclog the drain by hand: Grab a pair of gloves and open the drain cover. Take a flashlight and look around to see if there’s any grime, debris, hair, etc. and then clean it out.
